A History of Ideas: A reflection of 20th-century theoretical ideas that became our reality The year is 2261, two centuries after the last war in North America, between Russia and the U.S. To reflect what has changed I will be reflecting on a few 20th-century works of Science Fiction that have shaped the way our society has progressed since the war. Our society has evolved into a single organized culture, we all must work together to keep order and control. In order for us to work with each other, we also must rely on each other and therefore thrive because of the bond we have together and all our interest must be aligned. There are other many other groups who oppose our lifestyle and believe it is their duty to free us from our captive and controlled lifestyle. I have been evaluating multiple works of 20th-century science fiction in which I have found that a majority of our culture has adopted as a cultural lifestyle. I believe it is our right and our freedom to control our society maintain our traditions no matter how unorthodox they may be. In my recent endeavors to e xplain why our society has developed the way it has I read a piece of work by Mike Resnick called Kirinyaga I have made multiple discoveries that explain how our culture developed from this piece of art.
